The colour this season is oxblood and as you can see I have already show cased it often. This outfit mixes all trends for this season- oxblood, leather, lace. The Chanel bag is the perfect match to this outfit, well actually it is the perfect match to any outfit.
Welcome to my love of fashion.

Autumn trend... Pleather
Im not usually a fan of PU things but this gilet from River Island looks great. These wedge trainers are two trends in the oxblood colour. These are a bargain for £30 from boohoo.com.
High Heels High Hopes.
Autumn trends... Leather
Leather is always a big trend and this autumn/fall is no different. This cool leather biker jacket is from Miss Selfridge and is £150. I would usually say that this is quite expensive for a high street however this jacket will only get better with age and will be worth every penny. I guarantee you will get wear for your money. Just make sure you get the correct size and not one that is too big as it will stretch out very slightly with wear.

They are pleather so they wont break the bank either, a snip at only £30. This lace blouse balances the pretty and the rocker and at only £35. The chelsea boot and rucksack are so on trend right now.
This whole outfit is £190- an absolute bargain considering how often you could wear each item.

LFW... Day 3
Temperley London
It felt like we were surrounded by the housewives of the 1950s on the Temperley catwalk. The collection was very old school glamour. With big skirts and blouses. Applique detail.
Sheer stripes and sheer blouses.

Sheer stripes and sheer blouses.
Day 3 kicked off with the couples return to London Fashion week after spending the past f6 years in New York Fashion week. With inky colours and snakeskin print the show started off a bit harsh but the floral print balanced it out. Very muted colours considering the are known for their use of colour. Asymmetrical and panelled skirts, sheer blouses and boyfriend trouser suits.
Christopher Raeburn
Perfect parkas.
Nicole Farhi
This collection featured an awful lot of white with a touch of muted colour. Delicate and minimal, this collection pure class but we shouldn't expect anything but from the designer.
Topshop Unique
Marios Schwab
The collection was very tribal and I love it!! Raffia fringing, leather straps, sheer. The lines of the fabrics really define the female figure. And with cycling shorts under skirts this could be the next big thing. Maybe.
Matthew Williamson
Celebrating 15 years Williamson re-invented some archive pieces. Inspired by his love of India, the Holi Festival- an indian street party where people throw coloured powder over each other- in particular.
The show was a colourful procession . Bombay nights comes to mind.
As the designer said himself he is known for his use of colour, print and embellishment and this collection has no shortage. Landscapes were printed onto items.
The designer will be launching a bag and show line and used his own shoes on the catwalk for the first time. They were platforms and sky high.

LFW... Day 2
Daks
Daks started day 2 of London Fashion Week in style. The show started with whites, delicate fabrics, soft lines, then a glimpse of that trademark check, textured fabrics, sheer and finished with leather pieces.
Kinder Aggugini
The collection was inspired by Hemingways The Old Man and the Sea. It was youthful and coud be described as fisherman chic. With pinafores, double breasted blazers, gingham-yuck and thank god we finally see some floral. I was getting worried it wasn't going to feature next year. I love floral prints and dont think I could live with out a little bit.
Clements Ribeiro
I was really looking forward to this collection and wasn't disappointed. Knowing that the duo are collaborating with high street plus size favourite Evans and that you can grab a bargain past season item from your local TKMaxx makes this designer a favourite.
This collection was inspired by 12 year old Suzy Bishop from film Moonrise Kingdom style. And the jelly sandals gave that young sense. However that was where the youthfulness stopped. With sheer pussy bow blouses, sheer lace dresses, stripes and understated tartan.
Jasper Conran
The models at Jasper Conran strutted their stuff down the grassy catwalk barefoot with neon flowers in the background. It linked to the playfulness of some of the pieces. Like the ace of spades dress and cherry print skirt. Bringing Americana to the British Isles. There were stripes, sequins, bright colours, patchwork and denim for the first time on the Jasper Conran runway.
The main piece being a patchwork quilt dress.
Dion Lee
This collection was dominated by leather, white and cut out parts folded to create patterns with the fabric. Giving this collection a futuristic feel.
Holly Fulton
This LA inspired collection featured cut away dresses, 3D roses, circuls, bubblegum colours, embellished plastic pieces, clashing of colours. Accessorised with big round sunglasses and espadrille pumps. A real 60s vibe.
With the likes of Gemma Arteton and Jodie Kidd on the front row.
Todd Lynn
You couldn't miss the safari theme in this collection. There was also lemon hues, stripes, high necklines, delicate foldings, cut away pieces.
Sophia Webster
Newbie shoe designer really made a mark on day 2 of fashion week. The collection called Welcome to the Dollhouse showed off the pieces in a barbie style toy boxes. The shoes could be described as a tropical aztec. Full of fun.
John Rocha
Showing us volume.
House of Holland
Issa London
Vibrant colours, prints and embellishment. True chic.
Moschino Cheap and Chic
Bright colours, big collars, trouser suits, trainers and pineapples thrown in for good measure.
The collection is all about the fun. It was London 1970s style.
Next spring/summer is shaping up to be vibrant tropical tailored season. With lots of leather too. If you dont have a white trouser suit next spring you are so not on trend. The trouser suit is looking to be the key piece of the season. And what a classic piece to own in your wardrobe.

LFW... Day 1
PPQ
The collection is a psychedelic sixties in full force. Paisley prints, vibrant colours, nautical stripes. Its a deliberate mix of all sorts.
Bora Aksu
Turkish designer Bora Aksu was very regal with inspiration coming from Queen Victoria's grandaughter, Marie, who became Queen of Romania in 1922 and embraced traditional Romanian culture without losing her Englishness. With trade mark coctail dresses and sheer blouses we were in for a treat.
The designer will be launching their first handbag collection in autumn. Can not wait to see them.

Collars all around.
Jean Pierre Braganza
Tailored pieces dominated this show. With panelled dresses, structured blazers and that Tuxedo 3 piece suit. The collection is very mature and takes classics to the next level with these prints.
Emilia Wickstead
Inspired by Capote's society swans this chic and elegant collection was beautiful.
Sass & Bide
The Australian duo really showed us who was boss yesterday. They wowed us with beading and shell detail, origami folding, feathers, metal, tassels, chiffon, sheer tuxedo tails.
With their trademark necklace necklines. It was tradition conrasting with futuristic.
They were inspired by a trip to Peru which they fell in love with.
The show stopper was the embellished maxi dress.
Looking at all these collections I just cant wait for next spring/summer and to see what the high street will make of this season. I truely can't decide on a favourite of the day.
But it seems to me that many designers are creating their pieces with the Duchess of Cambridge,Kate Middleton in mind.

LFW... Maria Grachvogel
Maria Grachvogel on this collection:
“I love to allow inspiration to just flow when I create and for SS13, my woman is lean, modern and cool. The lines are cleaner and more architectural both in the cutting techniques and through the print. I am playing with sculptural pleats and contrasting textures.”
Waist defining lines.
Graphic prints. Clean colours.
Clear lines. Architectural prints.
Its hard to choose my favourite piece here I'm loving the leather, sheer, prints, all of it.

LFW... Zoe Jordan
The Zoe Jordan ss13 collection- an eclectic mix of metallics, structured blazers, a touch of Africa.
It was described as african desert and a touch of 80s high school varsity and all started when Zoe travelled to africa.
It was described as african desert and a touch of 80s high school varsity and all started when Zoe travelled to africa.
I love the top and skirt pieces, my favourite being the stripey skirt with the contrast of the black and white top. It had a lot of matching pieces.
And wet look hair finished the collection off.
LFW... Caroline Charles
Celebrating this year a 50th anniversary in fashion.
With playful vibrant colours. Tropical prints. Coloured sunnies. Belted jackets. Wide leg trousers. Maxi skirts. We are in no doubt that this is a spring/summer line.
London Fashion Week is here...
LONDON FASHION WEEK BEGINS
Its all started today. Over the course of this week I will post some of my high lights of this fashion week and look at re-creating some of the trends for you.
Day one kicked off with Antoni & Alison and didn't disappoint. With their kooky prints.
With hand painted style printeded dresses, cool maxi skirts, and jewel print.
Olives anyone?...
Love these colours-wines, olive, cappuccino.
River Island currently have some amazing stock. How cool is this shirt? And another cool thing is the price- its on £20. BARGAIN. Add this topshop collar tip to give it an edge.
This blazer and funky shorts from Topshop go really well with this blouse. These wedge sneakers are so on trend and are all over the high street or add some platforms and you have a cool evening look.
And finally the bag. You dont want to be too matchy- when you match your shoes to your bag it makes your outfit look more formal. This bag is an Alexander Wang and beautiful.
